Beidaihe
北戴河海滨
Many residents in Beijing and Tianjin would like to go to Beidaihe, a seasider resort along the Bohai Sea some 300 kilometres northeast Beijing to escape the summer heat and damp nights of July and August. Since it has been used as a summer resort with 719 villas by the royal family of the Qing Dynasty and then, a century ago, by foreign communities in Beijing and Tianjin,Beidaihe has grown into a popular folks' destination to kill off the unbearable hot days. In fact,Beidaihe is so well known that many Chinese people think Qinhuangdao is a district of Beidaihe,not the other way round.
许多在北京和天津居民的想去北戴河海滨,沿渤海约300公里在北京东北，在7,8月是个躲避炎热和潮湿的海滨度假胜地。由于它一直作为清朝皇室的避暑胜地,有719栋别墅，在那以后一个世纪以前,北京和天津的外国人使得北戴河发展成为避暑的目的地。事实上,如此众所周知,许多中国人认为北戴河是秦皇岛的一个地区,而不是相反。
