汉语数字中的“十”
Today “ten” is often used to sum up the work of a year. For example, “Ten Best Singers of the Year”，“Ten Best National Sport Star of the Year”“Ten Most Important National News in 2004”，and “Ten Most Important World News in 2004”，etc. When the new China was founded in 1949, there was “a 10-year anniversary celebration”for the founding of the nation in 1959，which was “big and grand”. The Han people do things in that way because they like round number and round figure, which in their minds means “perfect and satisfaction”.
今天，“十”经常被用来总结一年的工作。例如，“年度十佳歌手”，“年度十佳民族体育之星”，“2004年十大最重要国家新闻”和“2004年十大最重要世界新闻报”，等等。当新中国成立于1949年，在1959年有“10周年庆典”，这是“这是盛大而隆重的”。汉族人做事，他们喜欢整数，这是因为在他们的头脑中的意思是“完美和满意”。
