虽然美国感谢日本在处理福岛核废水的努力，不过其实美国是玩弄了双标，许多美国虽然表面上公开支持日本排放核废水，实际上却不认同日本在处理福岛核电站事故上的做法，否则就不会禁止相关的食品的进口了，从这个也是暴露了美国对于日本福岛核电站事故造成的影响的忌惮，为此禁止进口相关的食品。
