In China，the famous classic literature Three Kingdoms is well known. For centuries，due to its spectacular war scene，vivid character images，and funny plots，Three Kingdoms has been loved by Chinese ordinary people，and been researched by lots of scholars. Luo Guanzhong(1310-1385)lived in 14th century. He loved reading books since childhood，which set a favorable base for his future literature creating. Luo Guanzhong was in the times that the conflicts of nations and classes were very sharp and complicated. The Yuan Dynasty set by Mongolian noble governed Han ethnicity，which raised the rebellion from them.Righteous army showed up in every place. Those righteous armies fought against Yuan army ;meanwhile，they tried to annex each other to rule China after subverting Yuan Dynasty. Luo Guanzhong joined an army as a staff officer. At that time，Luo Guanzhong was ambitious and he hoped to dominate the country. Finally，Zhu Yuanzhang won the war and set up Ming Dynasty. Luo Guanzhong failed in poli-tics，and then he dwelled in his native place in retirement to write novels. Three kingdoms narrated the historical stories happened from 184 AD to 280 AD. Luo Guanzhong collected a great number of stories，official histories and legends of the three kingdoms，mixing his own ambitions and his experiences in the peasant up-rising，reproducing the battles among Wei，Shu and Wu. The art accomplishments of Three Kingdoms are in many ways. The author portrays a group of rich and mel-low images successfully by narrating the political and military fights. There are 400characters in all，including dozens of people who possess particular personalities .Such as，treacherous and suspicious Cao Cao，wise and resourceful Zhu Geliang，brave and rough Zhang Fei，and intelligent but stingy Zhou Yu. They are all classic characters. Three Kingdoms not only possesses important literature values，but also is an encyclopedia novel. In China，more and more experts and scholars are re-searching this great work. They investigate its art value and realistic value in differ-en tangles，like psychology，ethics，strategy etc. Three Kingdoms is also loved by other countries in the world. It has been translated into many languages，and been popular all over the world. It is so called “a real quintessence that has affinity to the people".
